Overview of the Company
Clark Nexsen is one of the oldest and largest architecture and engineering firms in Virginia. Founded in 1920, we provide architecture, interior design, civil engineering, structural engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and planning services for clients throughout the US as well as overseas. We have grown from one office and 40 employees in 1992 to six offices and over 360 employees. Our award winning firm specializes in the design of federal, municipal and state government facilities. Our projects include office buildings, housing, land planning, commercial retail, recreational, manufacturing, industrial and university facilities. We have recently completed numerous award winning local projects that include the Virginia Beach Convention Center, Half Moone Cruise Terminal, Ocean Beach Club Resort Hotel, and the RISE Research Building for Norfolk State University.
