Overview of the Company
The Virginia Ship Repair Association
(VSRA) is a regional trade

to focus and coordinate member

The Virginia Ship Repair Association
was founded in 1979 when corporate
officers of individual private

Roads jointly established the
Tidewater Maritime Training

training for the ship repair
industry in Hampton Roads, Virginia.
The Institute was incorporated in
1981 as a non-profit, tax exempt

separate industry association
(STASR) as a 501(c)(6). Today the
industry association is called the
Virginia Ship Repair Associatio, and
the 501(c)(3) non-profit is the
Virginia Ship Repair Foundation.
